Data Protection Policy

The Data Protection Policy of the University ensures compliance with the Data Protection Act of 2019 and focuses on several key objectives. These objectives encompass providing clarity regarding the processing of personal data, adhering to data protection laws and best practices, upholding data subjects' rights, and safeguarding against data breaches and violations of data protection laws.

This policy applies to diverse types of data and data locations and outlines the University's responsibilities in managing data protection requirements as guided by the principles of data protection: lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimization, storage limitation, accuracy, security, integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
